Professor requesting Proctor

In order to continue, please read the following policies that must be met each time you request proctoring services from Testing and Evaluation Services.

  • This service is for professors and instructional staff to enable the delivery of accommodated exams to McBurney students with a current McBurney Accommodations VISA. Any student proctored by Testing and Evaluation Staff without the consent of the McBurney Disability Services Office will be charged with academic misconduct. It is your responsibility to view a current McBurney VISA from each student we will be proctoring.
  • Requests must be received at least 7 days before the scheduled time.
  • We will approve requests once a proctor is scheduled. We will do our best to grant all request; however, because our proctors are all students, depending on their class schedules, there may be certain times/days for which none of our proctors are available. If this occurs, please contact Testing and Evaluation Services for other testing solutions.
  • Student academic misconduct will not be tolerated. Any instance of academic misconduct will be reported to you, the McBurney Center, and the Dean of Students office.
  • Proctors will report to the room you designate 5min before the scheduled exam time unless otherwise noted in the NOTES section of the request.
  • Proctors will not answer any questions regarding test content. Any questions that come up during the exam will be directed to you via the phone number you provide in the request form. If we are unable to reach you, the student will be advised to contact you after the exam.
