Professor requesting Room and Proctor
In order to continue, please read the following policies that must be met each time one of your students takes an exam at Testing and Evaluation Services.
- This service is for McBurney students with a current McBurney Accommodations VISA. Any student using this service without the consent of the McBurney Disability Services Office will be charged with academic misconduct. It is your responsibility to view a current McBurney VISA from each student.
- Requests must be received at least 7 days before the scheduled time. Requests should only include McBurney recommended accommodations appropriate for your exam. Requests made by the instructor will automatically be approved.
- Student academic misconduct will not be tolerated. Any instance of academic misconduct will be reported to you, the McBurney Center, and the Dean of Students office.
- You are responsible for delivery and pick up of the testing materials. You will need to indicate in the exam request form how this is to be done.
- Exam materials must be received by Testing and Evaluation at least 24 hours before the scheduled exam.
- For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, the testing office and testing rooms will be monitored by video and audio recording equipment. Recordings of unusual testing occurrences will be stored for 30 days. If you wish to view the tape of one of your exams, please contact Testing and Evaluation.
- Students should be prepared. They will need a photo ID and all approved materials with them when they arrive. They will not be allowed to have any other materials with them in the testing room other than those you authorize in the NOTES section of the request.
- Proctors will not answer any questions regarding test content. Any questions that come up during the exam will be directed to you via the phone number you provide in the request form. If we are unable to reach you, the student will be advised to contact you after the exam.
